Recent and Upcoming Activities
St. Ignatius Patronal Feast Day is Friday, October 17. This is a solemnity for parishioners of St. Ignatius. The Mass will be more solemn, with chant and incense. As it is a solemnity for St. Ignatius Parish, they do not need to perform a Friday penance but should mark the day with a special joy.
OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) will be starting up on Thursday, October 23, at 6:45 pm. This is an opportunity for those wishing to become Catholic to learn more about the faith and prepare with a group of others in similar situations. It can also be attended by adult Catholics who never received the Sacrament of Confirmation and would like to be Confirmed. Or if you just want to learn more about your faith, come to OCIA. Meetings are at St. Ignatius from 6:45 – 8:00 pm. We start in church. Contact Fr. Parrott with questions.
